Create Content

Learn how to create content, right inside your Scholastic Network portal.

Navigate to Content Portal

Inside your Scholastic Network dashboard, open your Toolbox and navigate to your Content portal:

Click Upload Content:

Select the type of content you would like to upload:

Types of Content

Landscape content occupies the largest tile on the screen and accepts photo and video.

Left content occupies the left tile on the screen and is conventionally used for branding.

Bottom Text content occupies the very bottom tile of the 3-tile screen format. This is raw text that you type out or paste.

Social feed content is either an RSS feed or a Twitter feed and it occupies the bottom tile on the 3-tile screen format.

For this example, I will select Landscape as my content type.

Choose Your Group

If you are apart of multiple groups, they will all be listed when you click on the dropdown. This is where you decide who you are uploading content for.

Select Use Creative

Creative Editor

You are now inside the Creative Editor. Here you can build out your messages, just like how you would in PowerPoint or Google Slides.

Our Creative Editor is simple and enables you to build out your messages in very little time.

Choose a Theme

In the bottom right, click on "More themes":

Under the "Global" repository and then "Campus Connect" library, we provide a wide range of categories you can choose from:

From here, select the theme you want to work with and click 'Done':

Add Text

You can insert text by typing inside of the "Text #1" field. You can then move the text around and resize it:

You can add multiple text blocks. Simply click the 'Add text' button and it will spawn another text block.

Add Images

You can insert images on top of your theme by clicking on the "Add Image" button:

You can add multiple images. Simply click the 'Add image' button again.

Create 🎉

Once you're happy with your piece of content, click "Create":

From there, you simply assign it to screens and schedule it, just as you would if you uploaded an image:
